In 1986 Commodore released the Amiga 2000 (see Wikipedia for more info), a high end alternative to the Amiga 500. Cherry produced the keyboards for the very first batch of Amiga 2000s. In total there are four different versions, only the first made by Cherry. The production quantity of this one is said to be around only 1000 units.
Amiga collectors claim that this keyboard goes up to $1200 on eBay. I paid about $30 for mine -_-
Amiga Powerrrrr.. In the summer of 1986 I worked a morning newspaper delivery job, getting up day at 5 o'clock in the morning, and then went on to work on the beach at a beach club, with my ultimate goal fulfilled some months later: An Amiga 500! It was quite a step up from my ZX Spectrum. Amigas are still my favorite all time computers.
